According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, Abbas Lisani, Azarbaijani nationalist-civil activist and his wife Roghieh Alizadeh, attended the first branch of the Revolutionary Court in Ardebil, at 11 am on June 1.

The court was presided by Judge Khodadadi, and the allegations of propaganda against the regime were rejected by both of them after being read for them.

Abbas Lisani noted in the meeting that “This court should be held in public under the Article 168 of the constitution”, then the judge said in his response that “We have just a question and there is no time for the jury and not the other”.

It should be noted that the charge against Abbas Lisani was related to sending audio files from Ardabil Prison in protest to the TV program called Fitileh, which insulted the people of Azerbaijan.

It is to say that, Abbas Lisani was released from Adel Abad prison in Shiraz after 6 days of hunger strike while his one-year-imprisonment sentence had finished on May 26.
