10 Prisoners Executed in 3 Cities of Iran

Breathing in Confinement – By 10 more executions in 3 cities of Iran, the number of executions in current month has reached to 13.
According to official and unofficial sources, during the recent days, 1 prisoner was executed in Sary, 1 in Qazvin and 8 were hanged in Zahedan.
In the report released by the Justice General Office in Mazandaran, Sari Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor has announced the execution of a second prisoner and announced his name as (Z. Ch.). According to the same source another prisoner named (H. H.), 27, was hanged in this prison in the morning of 24th April.
In another report, HRANA News Agency has announced 8 executions during 2 days in the Central Prison of Zahedan.
According to this report, at least five prisoners with unknown identities, accused with drug related crimes were hanged in the Central Prison of Zahedan at the presence of the prosecutor’s representative on Saturday 23rd April.
Also the death sentence of Jamshid Dehvari, 30, charged with murder, Sadegh Rigi, 35, on charge of murder and Mohammad Sanchuli, 22, was executed in this prison on 26th April.
Considering that Muhammad Sanchuli had been held in prison since 5 years ago, at the time of his arrest, he was younger than 18 years old and his execution is clearly a violation of international laws.
In another report the public and Revolutionary prosecutor of Qazvin announced the execution of a prisoner convicted of murder in Qazvin Central Prison.
According to the Qazvin province judiciary, these person’s verdict was implemented on 26th April, after being confirmed by the Supreme Court.
