Mustafa Gholamnezhad Released on the Bail

Breathing in Confinement – Mustafa Gholamnezhad who had been transferred to Tabriz Central Prison on June 6, was released on the bail.

According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, this civil activist who had been arrested in Tehran in the evening of May 23, was released on a bail of 2000 million IRR from Tabriz Central Prison, on June 16.

“Breathing in Confinement” had previously reported that he had been charged with “establishing illegal groups to disturb national security”, “acting against national security” and “propaganda against the regime” when he was being transferred to Tabriz.

His case will be sent to a court branch to be treated in coming days.

Mustafa Gholamnezhad, had previously also been arrested in University of Tabriz students’ protests in June 2003, and was detained for a short time in Tabriz intelligence office.

The physics student at Tabriz University was arrested on June 15, 2003, and detained for 18 days.

This civil activist also had been arrested during helping the earthquake victims in the region of Varzeghan in 2012, and had spent some time in custody.
