Breathing in Confinement – Zakia Harnisi, green activists who had been arrested in Ahvaz, was released after three days.

According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, this civil activist who had been arrested at her house in the morning on May 17 and was transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence, was released on May 20. 

Zakia Harnisi is agricultural engineer and is active in the field of culture and the environment.

She was very active to form human chains and campaigns to protest against pumping away Karun’s water.
