Breathing in Confinement – An activist was arrested by the Ministry of Intelligence in Ahvaz.
According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, Zakia Harnisi, Arab activists from Ahvaz was arrested without a warrant by the security forces of the Ministry of Intelligence at her house and was transferred to the Intelligence Office after confiscation of her means of communication and personal belongings.
This 26-year-old activist was transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence Office in the region of Amanieh of Ahvaz.
Agents of Intelligence Office in Ahvaz entered Zakia Harnisi’s house in Kianshahr without a warrant and took all the books, the computer, cell phones and her personal belongings.
Zakia Harnisi is graduate of agricultural engineering and active in the field of culture and the environment.
She actively formed human chains and campaigns to protest pumping away Karun’s water.
