Breathing in Confinement – The death sentence of at least one prisoner who had been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death was carried out in Isfahan Prison.

According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Isfahan Prison. The identity of the prisoner, Mostafa Salehi, has been verified by Breathing in Confinement.

Mostafa Salehi, from Juyabad, Isfahan, had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death. His sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 1 October 2025, in Isfahan Prison.
