No information about Said Shirzad after 36 days

Breathing in Confinement – There is no information about Said Shirzad, the children’s rights activist who has been arrested in Tabriz, 36 days ago.

According to the report of HRANA, Said Shirzad was arrested at his workplace, in Tabriz refinery on June 2nd.

“Two weeks ago the security forces informed his family that he has been transferred to Tehran. But Said did not have any contact with his family yet and we do not know anything about his status”. Said a close source to him

He also added, “We do not know about the probable charges and allegations”.

Said Shirzad was arrested on August 22, 2013, when he went to Ahar for helping people during the aftermath of an earthquake. He was released after 19 days on bail.

He was sentenced to one year in prison which is suspended in branch number 26 of the revolutionary court.
