Breathing in Confinement: Amir Mohammad Karimi, a polymer engineering student at the University of Tehran, has been arrested by security forces.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Amir Mohammad Karimi, a student admitted in 2025 to the polymer engineering programme at the University of Tehran, was arrested in recent weeks by security forces.
Based on the information published, while this student remains in detention, his disciplinary committee hearing was held in absentia, and without completion of full legal procedures and administrative due process, he was issued a suspension from study for two academic terms.
