Breathing in Confinement: Mohammad Parsa Golchin, a literature student at the University of Tehran and a gold medalist in the Literary Olympiad, has been arrested in Mashhad.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Mohammad Parsa Golchin, a 2024-entry student in literature at the University of Tehran and a gold medalist in the Literary Olympiad, was arrested on Saturday, 11 April, in the city of Mashhad.
According to published reports, he had gathered with a group of his former secondary school friends to visit one of their former teachers when dozens of armed officers entered the location and arrested all those present. According to these reports, the arrests were carried out with violence.
According to received information, most of those arrested were released the same night, but Mohammad Parsa Golchin remains in detention.
