Breathing in Confinement, December 15, 2020: Two Baloch Sukhtbars (fuel transporter workers) lost their lives after being chased and shot by security officers in Espakeh.

According to the Baloch activists’ campaign, on Sunday, December 13, 2020, while driving, a Baloch Sukhtbar named “Shahram Vidadi” from Band Aman village in the City of Iranshahr, was shot in the neck by security guards and his Peugeot 405 car went out of control and crashed into a Nissan pickup truck leading to the death of the drivers of both cars.

On December 13, Shahram’s body was transferred to Iranshahr, where forensic medicine considered the shooting a premeditated murder. The body was then handed over to Shahram’s family for burial.

The Nissan van driver “Faramarz Baloch Lashari,” son of Morad from Lashar, was a top student at Rah-e-Anbia High School who in addition to studying, transported fuel in order to support his education and family living expenses.

According to the report, security forces fled the scene without providing any assistance.
