Breathing in Confinement, December 15, 2020: Security agents shot dead a Baloch citizen on the Mashkid border.

According to the Baloch Activists Campaign, on Monday, December 14, 2020, security officers at the Rutak Khash checkpoint shot dead a Baloch citizen named “Saddam Suri Zehi” from the village of Tohid Abad in the city of Khash.

 

Lacking an appropriate job, Saddam, who had been recently married, was transporting fuel on his motorbike.

 

According to the report, Saddam was shot in the head by the head of the Rutak checkpoint on charge of carrying two gallons of gasoline on his motorcycle. He died on the way to the hospital.

 

The report adds that the complaint of Souri Zehi’s family against the officers of Rutak checkpoint has remained unanswered, as the officers denied the shooting.
