Breathing in Confinement – At dawn on Monday, 26 May 2025, the death sentence of at least one prisoner, previously arrested and sentenced to death on charges related to “drug offences,” was carried out at Maku Prison.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was executed at Maku Prison early Monday morning. He has been identified as Morad Delaei Milan.
According to the report, Morad Delaei Milan, a resident of one of the villages in Chaldoran, had been arrested five years ago on charges related to “drug offences” and sentenced to death. The execution was carried out at dawn on Monday, 26 May, at Maku Prison.
