According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Sunday, 21 September 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Kermanshah Prison. The identity of this prisoner, “Saeed Ghobadi,” has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.
Saeed Ghobadi, son of Ghobad, from the village of Dolangan Olya in Sarpol-e Zahab County, had been arrested seven years ago on the charge of murdering his wife and was sentenced to death. His execution was carried out at dawn on Sunday, 21 September 2025, in Kermanshah Prison.
