According to reporters from Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was hanged in Amol Prison in the early hours of Sunday, 14 June. The prisoner’s identity has been verified by Breathing in Confinement as Ali Alipour.
According to the report, Ali Alipour, a boxer from Mahmoudabad, had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death. His sentence was carried out in the early hours of Sunday, 14 June 2026, in Amol Prison.
