Breathing in Confinement – The death sentence of at least one prisoner who had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death was carried out in Ilam Prison.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, a prisoner was executed in Ilam Prison. The identity of this prisoner has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as Yaqub Daji.
Yaqub Daji, a native of Ilam Province, had been arrested three and a half years ago on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, in Ilam Prison.
