According to reporters from Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was hanged in Kashan Prison in the early hours of Sunday, 14 June. The prisoner’s identity has been verified by Breathing in Confinement as Mohammad Javad Salmani.
According to the report, Mohammad Javad Salmani, 23, had been arrested four years ago on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out in the early hours of Sunday, 14 June 2026, in Kashan Prison.
