Breathing in Confinement: At least one prisoner who had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of “murder” was executed in Khoy Prison.
According to reporters from Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was hanged in Khoy Prison in the early hours of Wednesday, 10 June. The prisoner has been identified by Breathing in Confinement as Vali Moradi.
According to the report, Vali Moradi, a native of Khoy, had previously been arrested on murder charges and sentenced to death. His execution was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, 10 June 2026, in Khoy Prison.
