Breathing in Confinement: at dawn on Sunday, January 5, the death sentence of at least one prisoner, convicted of “murder,” was carried out in Langarud Prison, Qom.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, the executed prisoner was identified as Hassan Nowrouzi.
Hassan Nowrouzi, a resident of Qom and of Shahsevan descent, had been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of “murder.” His execution was carried out at dawn on Sunday, January 5, in Langarud Prison, Qom.
