Breathing in Confinement – The identity of another prisoner executed on Wednesday in Ghezel Hesar Prison, who had been arrested on charges of murder and sentenced to death, has been confirmed.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, another prisoner was hanged in Ghezel Hesar Prison. The identity of this prisoner has been established as Alireza Dehghan.
Based on this report, Alireza Dehghan had previously been arrested on charges of murder and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, alongside eleven other prisoners in Ghezel Hesar Prison.
