According to reports received by Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, a prisoner was executed in Sirjan Prison. The identity of this prisoner, Ehsan Pour-Masoumi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.
Ehsan Pour-Masoumi, a native of Sirjan, was arrested three years ago on charges of murdering a man from the Bachaghchi tribe and subsequently sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Tuesday, 14 October 2025, in Sirjan Prison.
