According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on the morning of Sunday, 14 September 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Khorramabad Prison. The identity of this prisoner, “Farhad Sepahvand,” has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.
Farhad Sepahvand, a resident of Khorramabad, had been arrested 13 years ago, on 13 September 2012, on charges of “drug offences” and “possession of weapons,” and was sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Sunday, 14 September 2025, in Khorramabad Prison.
