Breathing in Confinement: The death sentence of a prisoner, previously arrested and sentenced to death on charges of “murder”, has been carried out in Marvdasht Prison.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, in the early hours of Monday, 11 May 2026, a prisoner was hanged in Marvdasht Prison. The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as Milad Vahidi Naqdalī.
According to the report, Milad Vahidi Naqdalī, son of Safarali, born on 28 October 1992 and from Marvdasht, had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and was ultimately sentenced to death. Prior to the execution of the sentence, he had donated his kidneys, and following the execution, the process of organ donation from his body was also carried out. The sentence was implemented in the early hours of Monday, 11 May 2026, in Marvdasht Prison.
