According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Kermanshah Prison. His identity has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement as Rahman Ali Akbari.
Rahman Ali Akbari, son of Ebrahim, from Angaz village, had previously been arrested and sentenced to death on a charge of murder. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, in Kermanshah Prison.
