According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Monday, 29 September 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Kerman Prison. The identity of this prisoner, Reza Shahlaei-Nia, has been verified by Breathing in Confinement.
Reza Shahlaei-Nia, son of Ahmad, from Qorveh, had previously been arrested on drug-related charges and sentenced to death. His sentence was carried out at dawn on Monday, 29 September 2025, in Kerman (Shahab) Prison.
