Breathing in Confinement – The death sentence of at least one prisoner, who had been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death, was carried out in Isfahan Prison.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on the morning of Sunday, 21 September 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Isfahan Prison. The identity of this prisoner, Vahid Ebrahimi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.
Vahid Ebrahimi, a resident of the Veldan neighbourhood of Isfahan, had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Sunday, 21 September 2025, in Isfahan Prison.
