Breathing in Confinement – The death sentence of a prisoner who had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to execution was carried out in Khorramabad Prison.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Sunday, 7 December 2025, a prisoner was hanged in Khorramabad Prison. The identity of this prisoner, Yavar Farhadi, has been confirmed by Breathing in Confinement.
Yavar Farhadi, from Aligoudarz, son of Nader and father to a young daughter, had been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death. He had been transferred to solitary confinement on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, in preparation for the execution. The sentence was carried out at dawn on Sunday, 7 December 2025, in Khorramabad Prison.
