Breathing in Confinement – The identity of another prisoner who was arrested on a charge of “murder” and executed yesterday in Ghezel Hesar Prison has been confirmed.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Wednesday, 8 October 2025, another prisoner was hanged in Ghezel Hesar Prison. The prisoner has been identified by Breathing in Confinement as “Shirzad.”
Reports indicate that Shirzad had previously been arrested on a charge of murder and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out at dawn on 8 October 2025 in Ghezel Hesar Prison.
