According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, a prisoner was executed at dawn on Wednesday, 14 May, in Dastgerd Prison, Isfahan. The identity of the prisoner has been confirmed as Mohammad Naeem Daneshi by the Breathing in Confinement team.
According to the report, Mohammad Naeem Daneshi, a resident of Ahmadabad, a district of Iranshahr, was arrested seven years ago on charges related to drug offences and was sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out in the early hours of Wednesday, 14 May, in Isfahan Central Prison.

Annual Report on Executions in Iran
