Breathing in Confinement – The death sentence of at least one prisoner, convicted of murder, was carried out in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Tuesday, 29 July 2025, a prisoner was hanged in the central prison of Kermanshah. The identity of the executed individual has been confirmed as Navid Rostami.
Navid Rostami, son of Allah-Karam, a resident of the village of Sarvanu in the Firouzabad district of Kermanshah, had been arrested six years ago on murder charges and sentenced to death. The sentence was carried out in Dizelabad Prison on the morning of Tuesday, 29 July 2025.
