Breathing in Confinement – The death sentence of at least one prisoner who had been arrested and sentenced to death on charges of “murder” was carried out in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at dawn on Tuesday, 22 July 2025, a prisoner was executed in Kermanshah Central Prison. The identity of the prisoner, Seyed Morteza (Pouria) Khorrami, has been verified by Breathing in Confinement.
Seyed Morteza (Pouria) Khorrami, son of Seyed Mostafa and a resident of Kangavar, was arrested two years ago on charges of killing a police officer and sentenced to death. The execution was carried out on the morning of Tuesday, 22 July 2025, in Dizelabad Prison, Kermanshah.
