Breathing in Confinement: On May 19, 2020, after a month and a half of being in detention, the civil activist Amir Chamani, was released on bail from the IRGC Intelligence Detention Center in Tabriz.

On May 19, 2020, after a month and a half being in custody, Amir Chamani, a civil activist from the City of Tabriz, was temporarily released on bail of 200 million Tomans, reported Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran.

Mr. Chamani was arrested on Thursday, April 2, after being summoned by the FATA Police in Tabriz. He then was transferred to the IRGC Intelligence Center. His illegal transfer had previously been reported by Breathing in Confinement.

The civil activist Amir Chamani, has the background history of several times of being arrested and imprisoned in Tabriz Jail.
