Breathing in Confinement: On November 18, the family members (mother, father and brother) of Pejman Gholipour, one of the victims of the November 2019 uprisings, were detained by security forces and released after several hours of interrogation. During the arrest, security forces confiscated the family’s cell phones and made their social media accounts inaccessible.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on November 18, the Instagram page of Mahboubeh Ramezani, Pejman Gholipour’s mother, went unavailable, following which the news of the arrest of Pejman’s mother, father and brother was published on social media.
Pejman Gholipour’s family was threatened by security forces not to hold the second anniversary of their son’s death happened in November 2019.
