Breathing in Confinement: On September 17, on an Instagram post, Kasra Hospital announced that due to a concussion Mahsa Amini had no vital signs before arriving at the hospital. After a few hours, however, the post was deleted from the hospital’s Instagram page without any explanation.

According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, Kasra Hospital deleted its Instagram post regarding the suspicious death of Mahsa Amini.

On Friday, September 17, 2022, Kasra Hospital announced on an Instagram post that “Mahsa Amini was transferred to Kasra Hospital at 20:22 on Tuesday, September 13, without vital signs and in a brain-death state and was resuscitated. However, she died following another cardiac arrest on Friday September 16.”

 

Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old woman from Saqqez, who had traveled to Tehran with her family, was arrested on Tuesday, September 13, at Haqqani metro station by the so called Moral Police agents. Hours later, her half-dead body was transferred from “Vozara Detention Center” to the ICU at Kasra Hospital, and finally died on Friday, September 16, 2022.
