Shahram Amjadian was sentenced to three years in prison

Breathing in Confinement, February 6, 2021: Shahram Amjadian, from the City of Sanandaj, who was arrested by security forces in the summer of 2019, was sentenced to three years in prison.

According to the Hengaw Organization for Human Rights, Shahram Amjadian, a citizen of Sanandaj, was recently sentenced to three years suspended imprisonment by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court.

The sentence was issued on charges of “disturbing public mind” and “acting against national security.”

Shahram Amjadian was arrested by security forces in Sanandaj on Sunday, August 15, 2019, and was temporarily released on bail awaiting the trial to be finalized.
