In a statement issued by the political prisoners, they declared:
“We, the members of the ‘Tuesdays Against Executions’ campaign, condemn the brutal attacks and torture of prisoners and salute the steadfastness of our fellow fighters. We thank all those who have echoed our voices.
We believe the escalation of executions, repression, amputations, and relentless violence is a tool to instil fear and silence a society that, since the Constitutional Revolution of 1906, has sought justice, freedom, and human dignity—paying the heavy price of imprisonment, torture, and execution.”
