A Baloch prisoner was executed in Dastgerd Prison in Isfahan

Breathing in a Confinement: On Monday, November 6, a Baloch prisoner was executed in Isfahan’s Dastgerd prison on drug-related charges.

According to “Breathing in the Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Monday, November 6, the death sentence of a Baloch prisoner named Hamed Brahui, 40, was carried out in Dastgerd prison in Isfahan. This prisoner had been arrested and sentenced to death about four years ago for carrying drugs.

To be executed, Hamed Brahoui had been transferred to solitary confinement on Sunday, November 5.

As of this writing, the execution of this prisoner has not been announced by Iran’s state media or official sources.

According to the statistics center of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, at least 730 prisoners have executed in various cities in the last one year (October 11, 2022-October 10, 2023).
