Amin Ansarifar arrested and transferred to Behbahan Prison

Breathing in Confinement: On Saturday, February 19, 2022, Amin Ansarifar, the father of Farzad Ansarifar, one of the killed protesters in November 2019 uprisings, was arrested after appearing in the Behbahan Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office and transferred to the city’s prison.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Saturday, February 19, Amin Ansarifar, the father of Farzad Ansarifar, one of the killed protesters in November 2019 uprisings, was arrested after appearing in the Behbahan Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office and transferred to the city’s prison.
To present his defense, Mr. Ansarifar had previously been summoned to Branch 4 of the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office in Behbahan, headed by Judge Kazem Tayyeb. The charge against him is “propaganda in favor of groups or organizations opposed to the Islamic Republic.”
