Hasan Tafah transferred back to prison after being in hospital for few hours

Breathing in Confinement – Hasan Tafah, political prisoner held in Rajai Shahr prison, Karaj, after only a few hours in the hospital was returned to the prison.

According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, this 58 year old political prisoner who suffers from leukemia, the morning of 20th July, was taken to hospital due to his condition deterioration but on the afternoon of the same day at 3pm officials took him back to the ward 12 of Rajai Shahr prison.

Indeed, this elder prisoner is in a condition that if he misses his medication for one day, he will face a serious threat to his life.

Hassan Tafah, PhD in law, member of the Arab Lawyers Union and observer of the International Court, The Hague, was arrested in 2008 and he was charged with acting against national security and propaganda and combat against the Regime and sentenced to 15 years in prison, by the Revolutionary Court in Tehran.
