According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, Mohammad Rajabi, one of the protesters arrested during the November 2019 uprisings, was released from the Greater Tehran Prison.

In early December 2020, a request for retrial submitted by Saeed Tamjidi, Amir Hossein Moradi, and Mohammad Rajabi, was accepted by Branch 1 of the Supreme Court, and their death sentences were overturned. Their case was then referred to Branch 23 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran as a branch of equal status for reconsideration. However, as the head of the branch was changed, their hearing was postponed. And in March 2021, the next hearing was scheduled for May 12, 2021. Finally, due to the absence of the second judge, the court session was postponed for two more times.

Saeed Tamjidi, Amir Hossein Moradi and Mohammad Rajabi, three protesters arrested during the November 2019 nationwide uprising, had previously been sentenced to death by the Revolutionary Court in Tehran. In addition to the death penalty, the three prisoners were sentenced to a total of 38 years in prison as well as 222 lashes.
