Breathing in Confinement – Mostafa Eskandari, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, was released unexpectedly from this prison.
According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, he was released from prison, after being suddenly summoned to the Revolutionary Guards’ ward in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj.
Mostafa Eskandari, a medical student and one of the detainees in the ceremony of “Fortieth Day”of Neda Agha Soltan who was arrested along with his wife, Kobra Zagheh Doost, on 30th July 2009, and was sentenced to a heavy sentence of 31 years imprisonment on charges including “disturbing public opinion” and “interviews with foreign media” and also, on security charges.
The prison officials did not give further information about his release and only told him that he is free and can go.
