Breathing in Confinement: Five days after the arrest of Wadud Asadi, a civil activist from Azerbaijan, Iran, living in Rasht, his whereabouts are still unknown. Mr. Asadi was arrested by security forces on October 30, 2021.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, 5 days after the arrest of Wadud Asadi, a civil activist from Azerbaijan province in Iran, his family has yet to be informed about his whereabouts.
Mr. Asadi was detained by security forces at his home on October 30, 2021. Security forces searched the home, confiscated his personal belongings, including a laptop and four mobile phones belonging to him and his family. Mr. Asadi was beaten during his arrest.
