Summoning of Farzaneh Ansarifar to Behbahan Revolutionary Court

Breathing in Confinement: Farzaneh Ansarifar, the sister of Farzad Ansarifar, one of the protesters killed in the November 2019 uprisings, was summoned to the Behbahan Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office on Sunday, April 25. Earlier, in November 2020, she along with 70 other citizens had been summoned to the Behbahan Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office for her charges to be investigated.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Sunday, April 25, 2021, Farzaneh Ansarifar, a citizen of Behbahan and the sister of Farzad Ansarifar, one of the protesters killed in the November 2019 uprisings, was summoned to the city’s Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office.
According to the summon dated April 25, issued by Branch 3 of Behbahan Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office, Ms. Ansarifar is to appear before the court within five days.
Ms. Ansarifar had also been summoned to Behbahan Intelligence Office on April 21.
In addition, earlier in November 2020, she had been summoned to Behbahan Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor’s Office for investigation of her charges listed as “insulting the Supreme Leader, participating in disturbing public order and disturbing the security of the country and society, and colluding to commit a crime against internal / external security.”
