Breathing in Confinement – At least one prisoner who had been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death was transferred to solitary confinement in Yazd Prison in preparation for execution.
According to Breathing in Confinement, the news outlet of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, a Baloch prisoner in Yazd Prison was moved to solitary confinement ahead of the implementation of his death sentence. The identity of this prisoner has been verified by Breathing in Confinement but is being withheld.
The Baloch prisoner had previously been arrested on charges of “murder” and sentenced to death.
