Zeinab Hamrang goes on sick leave

Breathing in Confinement: The retired teacher Zeinab Hamrang, who was being held in the quarantine section of women political ward in Evin Prison, was granted a sick leave.
According to “Breathing in Confinement”, the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, Zeinab Hamrang, following deterioration of her condition because of Covid-19, was sent on sick leave.
The retired teacher, Zeinab Hamrang Seyed Beigloo, who had been sentenced to five years in prison, was arrested on September 5, 2020, and transferred to Evin Prison, to serve her sentence.
In recent days, the outbreak of Covid-19 in the political women’s ward of Evin Prison, has endangered the lives of prisoners.
Earlier, Sepideh Kashani, Zahra Jamali and Alieh Motalebzadeh had also been sent on leave after their Covid-19 test came positive.
