Breathing in Confinement: On Thursday, July 18, 2024, at least three protest rallies were held.

According to the statistics center of the Prisoners’ Right League in Iran “Breathing in Confinement”, the wheat farmers of Darreh Shahr gathered in front of Sheikh Makan silo in protest over the non-payment for the wheat they had delivered to the government. The farmers demand either prompt payment or the return of their wheat. The farmers believe they can sell their wheat for a higher price in cash in the Iraqi market.

Investors of Taravat Novin Automobile Company in Takestan blocked the Qazvin-Takestan highway in their protest rally against the neglect of their demands. Despite having paid the registration fee, the car buyers have yet to receive their vehicles or the refund of they payment.

A group of local job-seeking youths in Haft Tappeh held a rally in front of the city’s agriculture and industry company, demanding employment with this company.
