Breathing in Confinement – At least 16 Sunni prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr Prison of Karaj.

According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, at least 16 of 36 Sunni death row prisoners who had been transferred to the solitary confinements were executed this morning.

A family member of one of these prisoners told the report of “Breathing in Confinement”: “We are now at the Kahrizak forensics. The families are receiving the corpses of their loved ones.”

He emphasized that there was no exact number of executed prisoners yet and identified some of those who have surely been executed as: Taleb Maleki, Arash Sharifi, Bahman Rahimi, Mokhtar Rahimi, Shahram Ahmadi and Behrouz Shahnazari.

36 Sunni death row prisoners had been transferred to solitary confinements by the prison guard of Rajai Shahr Prison last night.
