4 students of Tabriz University suspended from studying

Breathing in Confinement – Four students of Tabriz University have been suspended from education by the disciplinary committee of the University.
According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, four students of Tabriz University have been suspended from education for 1 to 2 semesters by the disciplinary committee for “setting up an illegal gathering”.
The names of these students are: Ehsan Pourkheiri, a philosophy student, for 2 semesters, Farhad Shafizadeh, a philosophy student, for 2 semesters, Esmaeil Mahmoudi, a philosophy student, for 1 semester and Omid Ahmadi, a student of computer engineering, for 2 semester suspension of education.
These students had attended a protest against the presence of Mohammad Saffar Harandi, former Minister of Culture at the University of Tabriz on 18th May 2014, and on 7th October 2014, also, attended the rally in support of Kobani, so that they were summed by the disciplinarian committee and have been convicted.
These provisions are now under appeal process due to these students complaining.
This is to say, earlier, also Farhad Shafizadeh on 11th September 2014, was arrested by intelligence agents and after 20 days he was released on bail of 100 million Tomans.
