Students of Ghods Dormitory Protest at Inappropriate Life Conditions

Breathing in Confinement – “Ghods Dormitory” students of Tehran gathered to protest against the situation in the dormitory, on 18th June.
According to the report of “Breathing in Confinement”, the students gathered in front of the dormitory entrance at 9pm on 18th June, till around midnight to protest against the situation in the Ghods dormitory number 3 in Tehran, demanding a meeting with the Security Chief.
An informed source in this regard, told the reporter of “Breathing in Confinement”: “After a while, the police forces were at the location of the students and asked them to go back to the dormitory, and as one of the students’ demands was the security of the surrounding of the dormitory, they promised to handle the situation.”
More than 150 students by insisting on a meeting with one of the university authorities, eventually were able to meet the security chief, discuss their complaint regarding the bad quality of food, the doors’ security system, heating and cooling systems of the dormitory and lack of security and safety outside the dormitory.
According to the latest reports, students will wait until next Saturday that the university officials fulfill their obligations, and have announced that if their demands are not fulfilled, they will gather again.
