A Labor Activist Arrested In Tabriz

Breathing in Confinement – Ali Faezpour, labor activist in Tabriz was arrested and transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence Office in this city.
According to the reporters of “Breathing in Confinement”, Ali Faezpour, a member of the “Health Forum of Azerbaijan” was arrested at his home and transferred to the Ministry of Intelligence Office in this city, in the afternoon of Saturday, 3rd October.
According to the reports, the Intelligence officers at the entrance to his house, attempted to inspect the home and then arrested Mr. Faezpour.
However, although Hashemzadeh, the head of branch 4 of the Public and Revolutionary Court in Tabriz, had announced that he would be released on 15th October on a bail of 100 million tomans, after the family of this labor activist attended, they were told that, Ali Faezpour’s detention order had been extended for 10 more days.
It is said that, this arrest was in connection with the funeral of the late Shahrokh Zamani in the city of Tabriz.
It is to say that, after the funeral of Shahrokh Zamani, a labor activist who died in Rajaee Shahr Prison in Karaj, Valeh Zamani, his cousin was arrested in Tehran and was held in detention for 10 days, and some labor activists and student activists were summoned to the Ministry of Intelligence and police Intelligence department in the city of Tabriz.
