Breathing in Confinement: On 12th of November, a 25-year-old woman from Lahijan took her own life by jumping from the fifth floor of a building.
According to “Breathing in Confinement,” the news organ of the Prisoners’ Rights League in Iran, on November 12, 2023, a 25-year-old woman in Lahijan attempted suicide by throwing herself from the fifth floor of a building.
In another report on November 12, three 16-17-year-old adolescents in Gorgan also died by suicide, and their bodies were laid to rest in Imamzadeh Abdullah cemetery in Gorgan.
The increasing economic and social pressures have tragically elevated the suicide rates among young people and adolescents in Iran.
